COVID-19 Update

We want to keep you informed regarding the latest update from Calvary Chapel Twin Peaks:

  • CCTP has now increased their capacity to 150 saints.
  • Covid restrictions are minimal.

Please continue to pray for our time together this summer.

Dearest Saints,

Greetings to you in the precious name of our Savior, Jesus Christ. While uncertainty and change are prevalent in our daily lives, we take great confidence that our Lord is the same yesterday, today, and forever. It was with this attitude that the contact brothers met on Saturday, February 27th to discuss this year’s Western Christian Conference (WCC).

Calvary Chapel Twin Peaks is once again open and hosting conferences. However, in an effort to comply with current guidelines and restrictions, they have employed a number of operating rules. (Please see them listed at the end of this email)

The brothers from all fellowships were in strong agreement that we should press ahead and open up registration for this year. To that end, we will be taking registrants on our website, westernchristianconference.com, starting Tuesday 3/9/2021 10:00am PST.

A few things to consider:

  • It is our heart that ALL who would like to attend would register. (With the expectation being that restrictions will hopefully loosen as summer approaches)
  • With the potential of a capacity limitation, registration will once again be on a first-come, first-serve basis. (See note on COVID 19 Operating rules)
  • Please hold all your payments until an update announcement is sent, as this will prevent us from having to go through all the details of a refund should things change.

The Contact Brothers will meet again on May 8th. At that time, we expect to have a clearer picture regarding COVID restrictions and will send out another update.

The prospect of seeing one another encourages us all, and we ask that you contend in prayer for this retreat—that the way should be opened wide for us to resume our conference together in full force. May you be blessed in His name.

Current CCTP COVID Operating Rules

  • Limited Capacity of 90 people at CCTP.
  • Only one family per room (or one person not of the same family).
  • Approximate available rooms is 60+.
  • Masks are required when social distancing is not able to be observed indoors and out.
  • Two families maximum at any table for dining.
  • Meeting Hall - Chairs to be spaced to allow social distancing for families (6’ apart). Masks to be worn until seated. Singing is allowed. If social distancing is not possible then masks are required at all times.
  • Break Out Rooms - Same rules as stated for Meeting Hall apply
  • Cathy expects the CCTP rules will become more liberal and the Camp Capacity will increase as the COVID cases drop.
